Is Temu banned in Indonesia?

Yes. Temu is blocked in Indonesia. Blocked in Oct 2024 to protect small local shops. Still no permit.

Communications ministry (Kominfo, now Komdigi) took Temu down in Oct 2024 for not registering as an electronic system operator, to protect small businesses, and asked Google and Apple to remove the app; the minister said its registration would not be granted. On 24 Apr 2025 the trade ministry's consumer-protection director general said Temu still has no permit and is a prohibited app (CNBC Indonesia). No lift found in 2025-26.
